Dog treats aren’t an absolute essential in your grooming kit like a clipper is, but they can be incredibly helpful during an appointment. If you want to ensure that the dog is content and stress-free during your appointment, it’s not a bad idea to have a few treats on you.

In fact, if you’re planning on having dog treats in your professional dog grooming kit, make sure you have a variety. This way, you can consider your canine clients’ health history and choose treats that won’t aggravate any health conditions or allergies they may have!

Regardless, choosing hypoallergenic treats that have only a couple ingredients is your fail-safe. Most dogs will be able to have them without any problems. Read on for a list of our favorite homemade dog treats for your grooming kit!
